About Me
I’m a former Marine combat veteran and Oklahoma native who has been all over the world from Hawaii to Japan to Afghanistan. After my time in the military, I pursued my passion of music and went to school for audio engineering - eventually earning a degree in Music Business at Honolulu Community College.
Music led to other creative interests and this is where I picked up my first camera and began filming. After a few years of doing small budget music videos for local artists in Hawaii, I was able to land a job at a professional video production company (5 Star Productions in Fort Smith, AR) where I was able to hone in on my craft.
Through my work with them, I had the opportunity to travel and film all over the US, as well as Mexico, and have worked with many clients such as Rheem, Home Depot and ESPN College Game Day, to name a few.
I now have my own independent production & media company, GRAND DOSE, and have filmed both music and fashion videos at some amazing places such as NYC and Paris. I shot and edited a fashion documentary for Interform / NWA Fashion Week and recently did work for Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate.
My passion is doing creative editorial work with a purpose that connects with people emotionally and helps to inspire others. I also recently started my own video series on the JayChas YouTube channel. My goal with the channel is to produce informative and valuable content through interviews and thoughtful discussions.
